What is a G-28?
A G-28 is an official USCIS form that notifies the Immigration Service and the Adjudicating Officer of the case, that the applicant or petitioner is represented by an attorney. Once submitted along with the immigration application or petition, the attorney listed on the G-28 becomes the official "Attorney of Record". Thereafter, all USCIS correspondence will be directed to the "Attorney of Record" on behalf of the applicant or petitioner.How it all works:
